We would love you to join us on a trek to Everest Base Camp in 2009. Your guides all have extensive knowledge of Everest and the Khumbu region and we all share a passion for climbing 8000 metre mountains.

Our colleague and friend Ang Nuru, is an experienced high altitude climber from the Khumbu, and is one of the many local people we'll be working with to ensure your safety, comfort and enjoyment throughout the trek. With an expedition doctor and a cardiac nurse on the team, all experienced in dealing with altitude-related illness, we are also able to offer medical support that is second to none.

In the Khumbu you’ll stay in friendly, comfortable lodges and enjoy an unlimited supply of local food, bottled water and carbonated drinks*. We will also arrange accommodation in Kathmandu's famous Yak 'n' Yeti hotel, Kathmandu tour, internal flights and a much needed massage on your return to Kathmandu!

We’ll give you the opportunity of meeting local people in a way that will make you feel like one of the family and your understanding of a gentle and welcoming culture will flourish.

Our aim is to get a fun group of people together who share our passion for adventure. We would welcome people travelling alone/couples/groups of all ages. Because we have the resources and guides to split in to smaller groups, you don't need to worry about being slower or faster than
other people.

In terms of a physical challenge, do not under estimate either the altitude or the physicality. However, anyone of reasonable fitness can safely complete this trek, so keep an open mind.

The views are ABSOLUTELY breathtaking, the mountains, the people and their way of life are just so inspiring. Come on —you'll love it!
