Milinda Lane, a 42 y.o. mother of two, lives in Northern California with her husband, youngest son and their black lab Cosmo. Milinda is an avid hiker / backpacker. She also enjoys rock climbing, road biking and anything that will get her outside. Her first backpacking trip was in Alaska in 1990 and it changed her life forever. She has hiked and backpacked all over Yosemite National Park, and many other local Californian destinations. Fall 2011 will be her first experience in a foreign country, as well as her first time hiking more than 40 miles. While she has no aspirations to climb the 7 summits like the wonderfully insane Rob and Kevin, she will be very happy to achieve her base camp goal in October. Milinda joined with Trek8848 to help us with trip organization for potential trekkers. She is our “go to” person when you want information and have questions about anything on the trips.
